Born: November 22, 1963, Kahuku, Oahu.

History Date: John Fitzgerald Kennedy was Assassinated. profound quote “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

1970’s Sid’s family moved from Oahu to Orange County, California. Sid, his sister Patrisha and his younger siblings were the first generation born American citizen.

Growing up he was close to his mom and siblings. Rarely seeing his biological father, a Polynesian entertainer unfortunately learned that his father had affairs. Seeing the hurt and disgust in his mother’s eyes, he wanted nothing from him. Fortunately, his mother later remarried to a good faithful man who raised Sid and his siblings.

1975-85: Sid learned later the diaspora of both his Polynesian cultural and modern American. Sid attended jr high, high school, Fullerton college OC, CA / 1983-84 Football were national champions & pony bowl champions. theatrical art & minor criminal justice.

1975-1995: Sid & his siblings taught Lima Lama, art of self-defense. Sid also studied kenpo karate under senior masters Mr. Dave Gonzales & Mr. Bob White. Raised with the Polynesian culture of respect especially towards the elderly. Physical punishments were common in his growth. Hypocrisy seemed to be the norms growing up, “Do what I say not what I do.” especially regarding his Christian faith.

1984-1995: Ms. Hawaii Aurora Kaawa owner/producer of AHA Polynesian production. At first, conflicted being it was his dad’s past profession. Sid’s desire to learn his Samoan culture and the Polynesian drumming and fire-knife became his passion, abilities and humility that led to decade long career for Disneyland & WDW.

1989-1991: Elder Liufau served a two-year labor of love mission in Chicago, Illinois. Attributing his practical use of faith in Christlike principles. “No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.” Truth of fulfillment & happiness through serving others. 

1995: Sid jumped from Polynesian performing to playing Batman at Great America.  Seeking new challenges, after a year in Waukegan, Illinois he relocated to Los Angeles and began his film and television career. (IMDB)

2001 – Currently Sid through a friend met the love of his life in Las Vegas. They dated a year then he married the completion of his life Sharene Teruya. June 9th, 2021, they now have five-children and eight grandchildren.

2004 – 2016: Sid took a break from the SAG/AFTRA profession. He created his first Las Vegas strip Polynesian dance production and dinner show “Island Heat” at Treasure Island Hotel. Through the ups & downs of the economy and traveling out of town.

2016 – 2025 Sid employed fulltime as a Clark County Convention Authority Officer. 2024 and 2025 Sid was awarded back-to-back the CEO Distinguished Award for his valiant actions of saving lives.

2018 – 2021: 2018 Sid was invited to a townhall community leadership meeting regarding API protest of Asian hate-crimes. Speaking at that meeting was a man who changed his life. Dr. Clyde Rivers spoke on Civility and solutions. Sid immediately enrolled and studied in Dr. River’s training on anti-hate monger. Sid believed if the tools Dr. Rivers are teaching can help with his children who were undergoing anxiety, stress and depression disorders then he would commit to learning Civility.

2020 Covid hit the nation, Sid along with 99% of LVCVA county employees were furloughed. Sid a leader in the Asian Pacific Island community focused on continue learning and how he could help others in the community who were struggling hardships due to no work, limited in stock food and provisions along with a closed government. The following year things started to reopen but the mental health issues have done its damage especially to our youth taken out of school, forced to stay home and quarantine alone.

September 11, 2022, Sid received an Honorary Doctorate from Dr. Clyde Rivers and Dr. Robin Lococo of ICN. Now as world Civility leader in Philosophy and humanitarian he created solutional platforms. Dr. Sid Liufau and Dr. Rozita Lee founded and created a non-profit organization (CFAF) Civility for All Foundation that currently trains in Civility mental health care philosophies and solutions.

Inclosing Sid continues to focus on the family well-being, employment, community services and sharing his testimony of the happiness found only through the son of God and savior, Jesus Christ.
